Smith's Obituary

Smith A. Fletcher, Sr. departed this life on Saturday, February 17, 2018. Born in Lynchburg, Va., he was the son of the late Smith and Elizabeth Fletcher.He is survived by his wife, Grace S.W. Fletcher; two sons, Smith, Jr. (Sandra) and Phillip (Debra); three daughters, Brenda Johnson, Sharon (Ricardo) Randle, and Donna (Chris) Walker; stepchildren, Minister Howard White, Cleveland White, Jr., Timothy (Kim) White, and Pamela (Kevin) Ramseur; one sister, Carolyn (L.A.) Franklin; one brother-in-law, Franklin Smith; the mother of his children, Jean Fletcher; 27 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.The family is receiving friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Community Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. His remains will be open to the public one hour prior to the service at the church.
