I'm so sorry Sallie and Sara. I know Midwest Institute was influential on so many lives, including my best friend where MidWest was one of her first jobs as an official "Teacher" after obtaining her degree. Rest in Peace.

We are shocked. You both had a big impact on our kids and helped me be a better parent. I still talk about Midwest when people talk about preschool.

It is sad to see someone who was so influential in many young childrens lives, especially children who had developmental and behavioral issues pass away. Meg was able to see past peoples flaws and was always willing to help those who had been written off by others as problem children, she will be greatly missed, especially by me one of the children that she has helped so much.

Was so very sad to learn that Meg, my Wiley'59 classmate passed away. We had been emailing back and forth a lot last month regarding our 1947 visits with Santa Claus in Terre Haute where our visits were recorded and the record given to our folks.
Godspeed Meg......

Meg was a fixture of my childhood, almost like an aunt to us. I well remember her taking me sailing for the first time when I was a boy. The world is a little dimmer today without her light.
