Stacey James, age 58 was born on April 1, 1967 in Houma, LA, departed her earthly life on Sunday, November 23, 2025 while surrounded by her family. She enjoyed every moment she spent at Tarc where she would have the opportunity to participate in various activities and also fostered many relationships. She is survived by 5 sisters: Hattie Mae James, Bonnie James, Roslyn James, Naomi James, Patricia Turner; 5 Brothers, Michael James (Barbara) , Alfred Welch, Jack Welch, Steven James, and Joseph James. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles Welsh and Rosemary Welsh; her sisters; Mary Sue Johnson, Betty Lou Holmes, Betty Ann Welsh and Sylvia M. Welch; her brothers, Clemond Williams, Clayton James, Lawrence James, Bennie James and Robert Branch. As we say our final goodbyes, let us carry forward the best parts of Stacy. Let us also remember her warmth, humor and genuine love for her family and friends. You will be missed more than words could ever express. Your spirit will forever live in the hearts of all who loved you and came in contact with you. Rest in heavenly peace.
