Stanley Mosley, Jr. Obituary

Stanley Mosley, Jr.,48, of Aliquippa, PA, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, December 15, 2025 peacefully at his home. He was born on May 9, 1977 in Sewickley, PA to Christine Harvey and Stanley Mosley, Sr.


Stanley was a member of Christian Lighthouse Church under the pastoral ship of Elder Lucas Boxley. He served on the usher board, choir, and YGI, a youth ministry that went to other states and countries doing missionary work to others.


He graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1995. He was a drum major of the Aliquippa Band and after graduation he enlisted in the Army Reserve.


Stanley was employed at the New Sheffield Café doing what he loved to do, “cooking.” He loved being with family and friends. There was no gathering without “Bud”, full of laughs and fun. A loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a passion for cooking and painting and also watching the Steelers, his #1 team. 


Stanley leaves to cherish his memories: mother Christine Harvey, Beaver Falls; father Stanley Mosley, Sr., Hopewell; a son DeAndre Hendon, Ambridge; a grandson Valer Fox, Aliquippa; 3 siblings, 2 sisters, Kiwanme Harvey, Midland, Miyako Harvey, Aliquippa; one brother, Julius Mosley, Ellwood City; 4 nephews, De’onte, Ke’Shawn, Xavier, Javion; 3 nieces Anizeonna, Rahjane, Rayne; 2 great nephews, Kaiden and Keelan; 1 great niece, Tae’Lynne; godparents, Evangelist Bernice Williams, Mary Bullock, Orville Crumb, Paul Bullock, Stacy Dalton; 2 goddaughters, Markeata Gates, Meela Jae Reynolds; god sister, Terrica Hendon; 3 uncles, Willie (Troy) Harvey, Ft. Worth, TX, Maurice (Edie) Mosley, Rochester, NY,  Louis Marshall, Jr., Atlanta, GA; 6 aunts; Rhonda (Wendell) Hargrove, Lithonia, GA, Melissa Hunter, Sarita Motton, Traci Black all of Aliquippa, PA; Michelle Miller, Pittsburgh, PA, Jamie Miller, Pageland, SC; great aunts, Bertha Johnson, Boynton Beach, FL, Bernice Floyd, Americus, GA. great uncle Lawrence Floyd Americus GA Devoted cousins Rhonda Cohen, Vaneesha Smitherman, and a host of family and friends.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willie (Lula) Harvey, Alice Gossett, James Miller; great- grandparents, Alma Mosley, Donnie Alford, Viola Floyd, Fletcher Hardwick, Annie Miller, Aunts, Lula Bell, Lillie “Ree”; Kay Kay; uncle, Jerome (J. Harv); godfather, Bro Williams, close friends; Lakeisha Miller, Shawntae Olden, Ebony Carter, and Jason Moore, Sr.


Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a celebration of life beginning at 12 noon, at Christian Lighthouse Church, Highland and Ravine Sts, Aliquippa, PA 15001.


Friends will also be received at 103 Wykes Street, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
