Sue Carol Fowee

1935 - 2021

Sue Carol (née Lindsey) Fowee, 85, of Wheaton, passed away suddenly on June 19, 2021. She is survived son Roger (Diana); granddaughter Kate (Jordan Gasaway); brother-in-law George Noell; nephew Chris Noell and niece Cathy Noell.

Sue was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Carroll and Ada (Weiss) Lindsey. She graduated from Withrow High School in 1953. After graduation, Sue worked as an X-Ray technician at Christ Hospital. On September 14, 1957, she married William Merle Fowee at Cincinnati. Sue and Bill moved to Wheaton to be near their son and granddaughter in their retirement. Bill preceded her in death last year after 62 years of marriage. Sue enjoyed coloring and drawing, never knew a dog she didn’t love, was a life-long Reds fan and became a fan of women’s soccer because of her granddaughter.

She is survived by her son Roger (Diana); her granddaughter Kate (Jordan Gasaway); her brother-in-law George Noell; her nephew Chris Noell and niece Cathy Noell.

Services will be held privately.
