Susan Anderson Obituary
Gretna………Susan Blair Anderson, age 80 of Gretna passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her residence.
Born July 25, 1945 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Garry Wyatt Blair, Sr. and Lena DeBoe Blair. She was predeceased by two brothers, Barry Blair and John Blair; and one sister Dianne Gates. Mrs. Anderson was a home maker, a member of Green Bay Christian Church and volunteered for many non-profit organizations within the community. She loved animals and children; and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Anderson of the residence; two daughters, Natalie Johnson and husband, Mark of Hardy and Heather Perryman and husband, David of Keeling; one son, Brian Anderson and wife, Melissa of Gretna; three brothers, Tom Blair and friend, Debbie Toney of Chatham. Garry Blair, Jr. of Virginia Beach and Ralph Blair and wife, Jane of Utah; three grandchildren, Jacob Anderson, Jana Keen and significant other, Shane Snellings and Cara Parks and husband, Joseph; three great-grandchildren, Eli, Sollie and Corbin; one great-grandchild on the way, Sawyer; and a special friend and caretaker, Ruby Mease.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Chapel by Rev. Kenneth Howell. Burial will follow in Green Bay Christian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026 at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Gretna Fire and Rescue, P.O. 14, Gretna, VA 24557 or to the Northern Pittsylvania County Food Bank, P.O. Box 125, Gretna, VA 24557.

I am so sorry Heather, Nathalie and Brian she was a Godsend and gave the best words of encouragement and advice ..I am so glad I got to see her on Sunday before she passed and she knew me and remebered the last things we had talked about. I will see you all Monday. Love each and everyone of you.
