Sylvia Bishop Obituary
Sylvia Rae Bishop was born on April 19th, 1949, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and has lived in Texas for the past 10 years. She passed, in no pain, in her sleep with her family by her side, on July 23, 2021, in New Braunfels Texas. She enjoyed crocheting (half of Akron has a blanket), ceramics and volunteering. She spent countless hours at the local senior center and enjoyed helping them organize and run the thrift store. She enjoyed Iona, Mary Ann and others she met here in Texas, and enjoyed living here. She loved “Aunt Moe” immensely and laughed many times over some of the stories. She will also miss David & Denise Kleintop, Jimmy Kleintop, and her friends in Ohio and beyond. She is survived by her sons Les and Mark and their respective wives, Stacy and Jen.

The passing of Sylvia has left a huge empty spot in my heart. We didn’t know each for more than a couple of years but the kindness and caring she showed to all she met was so heartwarming. She was also honest enough to tell you just what she thought of something but always with a smile and a twinkle in her eye. I know she is in heaven crocheting a bundle for our precious Lord.
