Tammy Moonen

Tammy S. Moonen, 57, of Hilton Head Island, SC, passed away on December 2, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 24, 1967 in Oneida, NY. Tammy will be remembered for her love of family, her generous spirit, and her infectious laughter. 

 

Tammy was raised in Oneida, NY, as the daughter of Gary R. Streeter, Patricia M. Kretser and Douglas R. Uhlig, all predeceased. Tammy is survived by her brothers, Tice Streeter (Patty Streeter), Todd Streeter, Dougie Uhlig, and her sisters, Trisha Kimball, Stephanie Bixby (Joel Klabon), her children Matthew R. Moonen, Ericka L. Moonen and Brandi L. Streeter (Andy Muhlgeier), her dogs, Stella and Frankie, and her loving husband of 32 years, Robert F. Moonen, as well as several nieces, nephews and six grandchildren that she treasured and loved dearly.

 

Tammy was an avid fill-in puzzle enthusiast, as well as Yahtzee and Scrabble player. She enjoyed live music, dancing, always being in the sunlight and on the beach on our beautiful island. 

 

At this time, the family is planning a memorial service in the Spring of 2025 in Oneida, NY. In lieu of flowers, Tammy would ask that all simply "be sweet" and serve each other with love.
