Teishun Norwood Obituary

Teishun Demond Norwood was born on June 22, 2002 in Jackson, MS to Yolanda Norwood and Richard Ellis. He was the second of 3 children.

He was a member of Fountain of Life Church in Jackson, MS and later joined Word of Christ in Jackson, MS.

Teishun attended Pearl High School and Job Corp. He played football and basketball, he enjoyed swimming during the summer. He loved to fish and loved playing his play station 5 (PS). He worked at Wendy's and Cracker Barrel.

Teishun was engaged to Emari Breauna Nichols and they were excepting their baby arrival (Terryauna Norwood).

He was preceded in death my by his grandma; Lorine Norwood, Mary Ruth Younger; granddad; Roosevelt Younger, Jr.; Roosevelt Younger, Sr.; Emmitt McGee. Gwen Lott, Mario Bell; Maria and Cleveland Ellis; Zachary McCullum and Red Bogan.

Teishun leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents: Yolanda (Lavon Williams) Norwood and Richard Ellis, his loving grandmother Dora Norwood, his fiancé Emari Nichols, daughter Terryauna Norwood. Five sisters: Teanna Ward. Brianna, Ayanna, Zekia Lewis, and Adreanna Chambliss. Four brothers: Derrick Alexander, Jared Tillman, Jimmy McAllister and Richard Ellis, Jr.; Mykla Coleman (niece) and Tyirike Ward (nephew). Special aunts: Coleysia Kendrick, Jessica Kendrick, Tangela Norwood, Thelma Norwood and Jackie Norwood. Special uncles: Tommy Kendrick, Roland Kendrick, Roosevelt Norwood, III, Milton Kendrick, Keith Flowers, Jimmy Norwood, Will T. Norwood, Wallace Norwood and James Lott and a host of relatives and friends.
