Not sure what to say?

It’s been almost a week and I’m still sorting this out. Terry was a boss, a mentor, but most importantly a friend. Words can’t really express the depth of our working and personal friendship. Way too many great memories to attempt to offer any single one in passing. Terry was one of those truly unique people you are fortunate enough to meet in your lifetime.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. May he rest in Peace. Bernie and Roger McCoy.

So sorry for your loss. My prayers for you and your family Tom .

Terry introduced me to Little Anthony and the Imperials - we even saw them downtown one Sunday night- he also taught me to like Elvis ( under duress) but he won -

Winterhurst lifelong friends

Friends since the early 60’s, then neighbors. Only wonderful memories. We reunited in 2022 when I drove through Cleveland on my way to Maine. We shared the loss of our spouses to ALS.p

I was deeply saddened to hear of Terry's passing. I have wonderful memories of growing up together in our teenage "formative" years. May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

A few memories

Obituary

TERRENCE J. "TERRY"'s Obituary

TERRENCE J. “TERRY” McMANAMON, age 77, beloved husband of 51 years to the late Cynthia J. (nee Hahn); loving father of Ryan (Andrea), Sean (Nicole) and Colleen Ganor (Doug); proud Grandpa of Joseph, Ellen, Connor, Molly, Jack, Will and Nora; son of the late Patricia “Patsy” (nee Cahill) and Thomas F. McManamon, Sr.; dear brother of Thomas F., Jr. (Jackie), Timothy (Mary, deceased), Ted (Sandra), Tracy (Amy) and Todd (Chris); dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Terry passed away suddenly on March 29, 2025.  He lived his whole life on the west side of Cleveland, 40 of those years on Edgecliff as the self-appointed mayor.  He was a proud graduate of St. Edward High School and Miami University, where he met Cynthia.  They married in 1970 and spent three years traveling the world before coming home to start a family.  Terry was a great Dad, supportive, loving, full of ideas and always ready to fund a good time.  He loved golfing, traveling, gambling, hosing surfaces and trashy TV shows.  Most of all, he loved his family; Cynthia, whom he is now reunited with, and his kids and grandkids.  Terry will be missed by so many, and we will all cherish the wonderful memories he left with us.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet for his Funeral Mass Saturday, April 5, St. Mark Church (15800 Montrose Ave.) at 10 A.M.  Livestream link:  https://www.facebook.com/people/St-Mark-Parish-Cleveland/100064404981103/ Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, FRIDAY 4-7 P.M.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the ALS Association at https://donate.noh.als.org
