Thelma Rose Earegood of Flint, age 71, died Tuesday August 9, 2022 at McLaren-Flint Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday August 12, 2022 at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle Church 1013 Hughes Ave. Flint. Bishop Keith McKinnies officiating: with private burial in Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Thelma will lie in state from 12:00 noon Friday until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the Church Memorial Fund.
Thelma was born in Flint Michigan on January 31, 1951 the daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel (Thick) Trimble and has resided in the Flint area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to James A. Earegood on February 10, 1969. Thelma was a graduate of Kearsley High Class of 1969 and an active member of the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle. Thelma enjoyed her time quilting and scrapbooking and was an avid car enthusiast.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of fifty-three years Jim, her daughters; Cindy and husband Jerry Hunt, and Maria and husband Rick Huff. She also leaves her loving five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Surviving also are her sisters: Diane Moore, Shirley (Dick) Brown, Virginia (Jeff) Rothfuss, brother Floyd Trimble Jr., and a host of extended family and friends.
