Theresa was blessed with great nieces Karen and Kathy to look after her in her final years. May she rest in peace.

My parents and I have known Theresa for decades. Theresa and Wally were great friends.

It is with great sadness and yet a blessing that we share the passing of Theresa Kulbieda (nee Borowski), age 94, who was preceded in death by her husband Walter (Wally).
Daughter of the late Paul and Mary Borowski; dearest sister of the late Dolores, Clarence, Paul Jr., Marion and Virginia, Brother in Law’s and Sister in Law’s; as well as Aunt to nieces, nephew, great nieces, and great nephews.
Theresa was born in Calumet City and grew up the second to youngest of six children. She married Wally on September 21st, 1974 at Holy Trinity Church in Chicago. They moved into their home in Chicago, and it is where Theresa lived with a caregiver for the last 4 years.
Theresa loved gardening in her backyard, family parties and dancing. She was known to stomp a few feet in her high heels doing the polka at weddings!
On October 16th, Theresa suffered a massive stroke which left her partly paralyzed and non-responsive. Strong willed and feisty, she fought bravely in hospice for 2 weeks before her death on Wednesday, November 5th.
