Theresa was a beautiful person inside and out. I’ll never forget her generosity to my twins when she found out they love Eric Carle books and got them a full set. The way their eyes lit up that was really her gift, because everyone she met lit up that way. Her humor, her style, her sass you couldn’t leave her presence the same way you came in. It was an honor to know her and I’ll miss her very much.

I remember Theresa Trieste studying with my late mother, Eva Lazar Gabriel. Terry truly had the voice of an Angel here on Earth. Now, she is no doubt serenading Heaven with her presence. Gone far too soon. My condolences to the family. Dr. Sylvia Clark

I met Theresa in 1979 at St John's Villa ... she was junior .... I was a Farrell sophomore ... we were cast in No No Nanette... I remember it like it was yesterday... Villa , the girls , and the wonderful beautiful nuns became a refuge for me... a beautiful time in my life indeed.
Theresa was the leading lady I was the comic uncle ... all the girls had great voices... but Theresa's voice was just absolutely gorgeous... beautiful... pure Italian soprano.... outstanding quality to herself and her voice.
A year later she was the lead in Carousel and she went on to many productions and outstanding cabaret performances all over NYC in the early 80s.
We would cross paths many times over the years: ... Eva Lazar voice lessons and recitals ... always a beautiful voice always a beautiful person inside and outside.
My sincerest sympathy to Richard, Lauren, and Jessica ... I remember you all ... hopefully you, as a family, will have the strength to deal with the loss of Theresa ... I will always remember her , and our times on stage together, with the great fondness... bless her soul... may she rest in peace.

Rest in Peace Theresa. I know you are reunited with your beloved parents. To our cousin, Rick, and his beautiful daughters, Lauren and Jessica, we are truly sorry for your loss. This unforgiving disease has taken too many of our loved ones before their time. Your Uncle Bart would have been incredibly saddened by this. Praying for you all to find peace during this time.
