Theron Frances Russ Jr., 86 of Westville went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2012. Mr. Russ was born in Vernon, Fl on June 18, 1925 to Theron Frances Russ Sr. and Mary Brock. He was a welder at the ship yard during World War II. He worked twenty five years for St. Joe Paper Company as the head dye cut operator. He was also of the Independent Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Burness Russ; He is survived by 2 sons: Ronald S. Russ of Gainesville and Theron Russ III of Westville; sister: Pauline Cook of Vernon; 4 grandchildren: Linda Russ, Larry Russ, Zack Russ and Dev Russ; 7 great grandchildren: Curtis Tracy, Victoria Russ, Tiana Russ, Michael Stark, Matthew Stark, Evie Russ, Miley Stark and Noah Keels. Graveside funeral services were held 10a.m. Wednesday January 11, 2012 at the Vernon City cemetery with Rev. Ike Steverson officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
