Thomas Coleman, III Obituary
A memorial service for Thomas Algernon Coleman, III, 74, of Avinger, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025, at The Deer Camp. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home.
Thomas was born on September 21, 1950, in Marshall, Texas and passed away on March 17, 2025, in Avinger, Texas.
He worked as a steel fitter and welder most of his life, working at Fab Steel in Waskom and Con Fab in Shreveport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting antiques.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Calvin “Doodle” Coleman.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Coleman; children, Heidi Lucas and husband, Dan, Andrea Coleman and Julia Coleman Gossens and husband, Ryan; grandchildren, Elijah Lucas, Abigail Lucas, Anabelle Lucas, Naomi Toal, Naveen Toal, Nikolas Allen, Bubba Coleman, Jamie Gossens and Kadie Gossens; great grandchild, Braxton Gossens and sisters, Stacy Gentry along with his beloved cat, Bobbi Sue and other family and friends.
