It is with deep sorrow yet a celebration of a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Timothy Wayne Ivy, who departed from this world on March 4, 2026, at his home in Bulverde, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 1, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas, Tim was the cherished son of Albert Charles (A.C) Ivy and Wilma Lois (Foster) Ivy.
Tim graduated from Churchill High School in San Antonio and dedicated many years to the family business, A.C. Ivy Used Cars in San Antonio, where he and his father formed an inseparable bond. Following his father's passing, Tim honorably continued the family tradition, rebranding the business as Tim Ivy Used Cars and fostering a legacy of hard work and integrity until his retirement.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Tim found joy in the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and shared countless hours with his family on various properties, cultivating a love for agriculture and livestock that enriched his life and that of his family.
Tim is preceded in death by his beloved parents, A.C. and Wilma Ivy, his brother, Charlie Ivy, and his brother-in-law Allen Musick. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 41 years, Kathy Ann (Fey) Ivy; their two children, Timothy Ivy, II and his wife Erin, and Brittany Ivy and her husband Garrett Riedel; and three cherished grandchildren, Abigale, Meleah, and Skylar. Tim is also survived by his two sisters, Marilyn Musick and Cheryl Johnson, and her husband Randy, along with nephews, relatives, and a host of dear friends.
A gathering to celebrate Tim's remarkable life will take place at the following times:
Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Monday, March 9, 2026 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, allowing friends and family to share memories and condolences. The Rosary will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, offering a time for reflection and prayer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco, Texas. This sacred service will honor Tim's faith and devotion to his family and community.
Tim will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Blanco, where he will continue to be remembered with love and admiration.
In celebrating Tim’s life, we reflect on his love for family, his commitment to his work, and his passion for the outdoors. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
