Mr. Trenton Kyle Lockaby age 43 of Melinda Lane Woodstock, GA. formerly of Blairsville passed away peacefully on Friday August 29, 2025 in Northside Cherokee Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Lockaby was born on April 17, 1982 in Atlanta, GA., the son of Steven Kerry Lockaby and Tammy Faircloth Lockaby. Trenton was a loving and caring son, brother, grandson and uncle. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Casey Wilkinson Lockaby in 2015, his grandfather, Jack Lockaby, great grandmother, Della Brown Hughes and grandfather and grandmother, Jim Faircloth and Juanita Faircloth. Mr. Lockaby was of the Christian faith.
Surviving Mr. Lockaby are his father, Kerry Lockaby of Woodstock, GA., his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Donnie Mobley of Panama City Beach, FL., his special Mamaw,, Mary Ann Lockaby of Blairsville, one brother, Travis Abernathy, two sisters, Aimee Leavitt and Alisa Penaloza, uncles, Kevin Lockaby of Blairsville, Keith Lockaby of Waleska, GA., many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Mountain View Chapel with Rev. Aud Brown officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Tommy Parker, Keith Lockaby, Keith Berry, Tommy Vincent, Anthony Penaloza and Robert Wynn. Interment will follow in the Bellview Church Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Lockaby’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12-2:200 pm.
