I met Trista via my daughter, Venessa Lord. She was always warm and friendly to me each time our paths crossed. I know the bond between Trista and Venessa was deeper than friends, they were and always will be sisters by choice. She will be missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will always shine in those who's lives she touched. I send love and hugs to her husband, her daughter and her family.

Trista's Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Trista May True, who left us on June 29, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on April 25, 1986, Trista was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter, and dear sister.

Trista was the beloved wife of John Matthew True, with whom she shared 8 wonderful years of marriage and a total of 17 years together. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership. She was the loving mother of Braxton Xavier True, who was the light of her life.

Trista was a cherished daughter to Rodney and Dorothy Eldridge. She was a dear sister to Tanya Eldridge, Cheryl Eldridge, and Paul Blackey, and a step-sister to Ashley Spinney. She also held a special place in the hearts of her nieces, Makayla Valentin and Makenzie Myers.

Trista dedicated her life to caring for others, always putting the needs of those around her first. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly camping and trips to the beach, but most of all, she treasured quality time spent with her family.

Trista was loved by many, and her kind spirit and compassionate heart touched countless lives. She will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her, a lasting beacon of love and selflessness.
