Valerie Cooper Obituary
Valerie Cooper, 62, of Mt. Bethel, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 27, 2025.
Born on November 26, 1963, in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the beloved daughter of Alton Van Blarcom and the late Lori (Duffner) Van Blarcom.
Valerie was the cherished wife of John E. Cooper, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage. She was a dedicated cafeteria worker and bus driver at Bangor Area School District in Bangor, PA, where she was known for her commitment and care for the students.
Valerie is survived by her loving husband, John, and their two sons, Ross and David Cooper. She is also survived by her sisters, Joanne Barnes and Cindy Van Blarcom. Valerie was predeceased by her mother, Lori Van Blarcom.
She was a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Woodbridge, NJ.
Services for Valerie will be private, held at the convenience of the family at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Lillian Lane, Bangor, PA.
