Vasilios Kosmas Obituary
Vasilios N. Kosmas, age 94, fell asleep in the Lord January 13, 2024. Beloved husband of Ekaterini Kosmas née Varzakakos for 32 years and the late Metaxia Kosmas née Kokoros for 31 years. Loving father of Nick (Lisa) Kosmas and George (Kimberly) Kosmas and stepfather of Sophia (Constantine) Theodoropoulos. Devoted son of the late Nikolaos and Athanasia Kosmas. Proud grandfather of Alex (Christina Castillo) Kosmas, Daniel Kosmas, William Kosmas, Fr. Anastasios (Elizabeth) Theodoropoulos, Constantine Theodoropoulos and Jason (Tina) Theodoropoulos. Fond brother, uncle and cousin of many.
Vasilios loved his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his garden.
Visitation Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Road, Park Ridge, IL 60068. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Association https://www.alz.org or the American Lung Association https://www.lung.org would be appreciated.
