Venetta Narducci, 63, of New Syrma Beach FL, formally of East Haddam CT, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Venetta grew up in East Haddam CT, a town they loved and often returned to. She worked at The Gelston House Restaurant and then The Middlesex Opera House Restaurant before starting her career at Aetna for 30+ years and retired in 2017. In her free time, Venetta could be found making people laugh and smile while serving them from behind the bar at the American Legion Post 285 or the Moose Lodge. In her retirement she loved camping, playing golf, crafting, going to the races with her husband, and being a vital part of many race teams as a timer and later as a car owner with her husband Greg. After getting out of owning a car, The Florida Connection came to its fruition, which to this day sponsors many cars. Venetta will be greatly missed by all the communities she was a part of.
Venetta was predeceased by her father Louis F. Donner III, beloved brother Louis “Frankie” Donner IV, and her adored cat, Sparky. Venetta is also survived by her best friend and loving husband Greg Narducci, her cherished bird Sunnie, her mother Sonia Allen of Essex, CT, her step father David Allen of The Villages, FL, her beloved sister Denise Allen and her wife Susan Perry of Meriden, CT, her brothers Donald Donner of West Virginia, Garrett Donner of Moodus, CT, her sisters in law Nancy Donner of Manchester, CT and Sarah Donner of East Haddam, CT, her brother-in-law Ron Narducci of East Haddam, CT and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Venetta asked that her loved ones make donations to Special Wishes and/or St Judes Hospital. Special Wishes is a charity out of Connecticut that makes a wish come true for a child stricken with a life-threatening-illness. Venetta spent many hours volunteering and assisting with the organization, even spending a short period of time on the board.
Wake will be held Saturday, November 20th, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown, CT. Burial will take place on Sunday 10 a.m. at the Waterhole Cemetery, in East Hampton, CT. A Celebration of Life will follow the burial at the American Legion Post 156 from 11:00 a.m.

Venetta was most likely the kindness, most honest, generous and sincere and always a lady that I had the fortune to know for over 6 years. To know her was to love her in a family way. Time and time again Venetta and her husband Greg were always the first to stand and help others regardless of who it might be, Individuals, America Legions, Moose Lodges and I am sure many other organizations Venetta and Greg's would be there. I am blessed to have known Venetta and been able to call her my friend, those who didn't known missed out. God keep her soul close by R.I.P.

Venetta, you were a shining star on earth and now you are a shining star in heaven. I have many fond memories of you and me in high school! We were great cheerleading sisters together! You and Gregg were so lucky to have found each other at such an early age and you just got stronger and stronger together each passing year. Many people don’t experience that kind of forever love! And I’m so happy you did! Rest In Peace my friend.
