In loving memory of a wonderful lady that I knew and worked with for many years at the Medal Office. We had lots of fun times and lunches together. After she retired she always called me on my birthday to wish me happy birthday. I regret that I will not be able to make it to the wake and Mass, so I extend my deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers to you all.

Oh what memories I have of Aunt Vera Mae! Wonderful memories of a graceful, caring, and loving person. My memories go to when Uncle Harry was dating her. Through the years she always had a wonderful smile and thoughtful expressions. In the later years, when she was alone, I was fortunate to be able to visit her from time to time when I had business at SEMO. Then finally the last time Linda and I saw her was in September as we passed through Perryville. I am not sure she realized which of us three boys I was, but she did remember the three Feltz boys from Colorado. With her comes the passing of a generation, the last. Now it is up to us to carry on the wonderful Feltz legacy of warm friendship and caring that the Feltz family and Aunt Vera Mae displayed.
