Vickie Ann Valliant, born on October 11, 1966, to Lou Ann Valliant and Charles Pearson-Brown, was called home to be with the Lord. She was a graduate of the Carbondale School System, where she formed many lasting friendships and was known for her warmth and kind heart.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Lou Ann Valliant and Charles Pearson-Brown, her son, Lamont Valliant, her brother, Donald Valliant, as well as her grandparents, May Frances and Jack Valliant Sr. She was also preceded by her uncles, Charlie Ray, Levert, Jack Jr., Jessie and Kenneth, her aunt, Mary Faye, and her cousin, Bryan.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Davon Edwards, DeShawn Edwards, Krystle Valliant and Kanysha Valliant. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kingston Edwards, Kyruan Valliant, Akayzia Valliant, DeAzia Valliant and Jayceon Valliant, who brought her immense joy. Vickie is also survived by her siblings, Felisa and Barbara (Terry), as well as her aunts, Sharon Diane, Georgiann and Anna, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Vickie’s love for her family and friends was boundless. She will be remembered for her compassionate nature, her unwavering love for her children and grandchildren, and her ability to bring a smile to everyone she met. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.
Rest in peace, Vickie. Your love and memory will remain in our hearts, forever.
