Victoria Ann Hendrick Patterson passed away on Monday December 29th at IU Hospital.
Victoria was a graduate of Walter Johnson High School class of 1985 in Bethesda, Maryland where she swam, played field hockey and enjoyed her passion for horsemanship. She found her career in medicine and her niche in podiatry and wound care where she practiced for 20+ years. She was best known for being the face of Achilles and Apex Podiatry in Crawfordsville, IN.
She is survived by her husband Bill Patterson, her 3 sons Andrew [wife Kassidi], Matthew, and Landon, her mother Barbara Hendrick, sister Christina Hendrick Barber [ husband David], and her nieces Kelley Hernandez & Kaitlyn Fryar. She is preceded in death by her father Peter Hendrick and her beloved horse Top Notch.
Victoria was warm-hearted, approachable, friendly and motherly to anybody that had the pleasure of knowing her. Victoria shined brightest when it came to raising her boys and truly enjoyed watching them grow. She often shared that their accomplishments were hers as well, and the boys would agree. Victoria proudly and selflessly helped all 3 of her children accomplish the rank of Eagle Scout and 10 consecutive years of 4-H. Outside of her children, she loved traveling, the outdoors, game nights and seizing every opportunity that came each day.
She will be honored by a celebration of life ceremony with her immediate family at a later date.

I am so sorry for your loss Bill, Andrew, Matthew and Landon. Victoria was an amazing mom and was so proud of her boys. She married my brother 30 years ago and their move to Indiana 23 years ago brought her into our lives. We are richer because of knowing her. She taught us to LOVE board games, had a wonderful infectious laugh, and made a corn casserole and sweet potato casserole for holiday dinners that were to die for. She was strong, devoted to family, adventurous and hard working. And she was courageous when she faced some very difficult challenges. She took a little piece of my heart with her. She will be missed so very much.
Love you all,
Evy (and Mark) McBee

Bill, Andrew, Matthew and Landon,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Victoria was one of the sweetest, caring, hard working ladies I ever had the pleasure to work with. She never had a bad word to say about anyone and I know she will be missed deeply. She touched the lives of so many. When she talked about her boys and all their accomplishments she was so proud. Always remember you were everything to your mother and she loved you dearly ! May Gods peace and comfort let you rest assured knowing she is with him and she will see you again! Blessings to you, Linda Z
