Dearest grandmother of Leeann (Pastor Aaron) Schellhas, Jason G. (Jennifer) Tolsky, and Katy (Kyle) Haptonstall. Cherished great-grandmother of Natalee, Jarred, Gretta, Noelle, Isabelle, and Grayson G.
Dear sister of the late Mildred (late Edwin) Schmook, late Evelyn (late Richard) Blaesing, late Shirley (late Louis) Bill Jr. and the late Ethel (late Arnold) Braasch.
Fond aunt of many, many nieces and nephews.
Violet was the Past President of the State of Illinois Marine Corps Womens' Auxiliary. She was a member of the Womens' Auxiliary Burbank, IL. Detachment. Violet was also past president for 10 years of the Mokena Senior Citizens. Violet was active at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mokena, IL. She participated in quilting, the Ruth Society. She also enjoyed crocheting, crafts, sewing, baking (especially at Christmas), and gardening.

In loving memory of a wonderful, loving Aunt who meant the world to me. She filled a void after the loss of my Mom, her sister, at the young age of 56. I will always cherish the memories of the closeness of our family growing up, the countless holidays, birthdays and so many other occasions we all spent together. I am so very lucky to have had Auntie Vi in my life for these many years and will carry beautiful memories with me always. Godspeed to you my sweet auntie. You are now in paradise with the Lord, Uncle George, all of your sisters and so many others that you love that went before you. You are now in a place where there no longer is sorrow or pain and where we some day will be together again.
