Violetta "Violette" Bouchard (née Rivard) passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Avenue on Thursday January 16, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerard Bouchard. Dear daughter of the late Rose Fontaine and the late Joseph Rivard. Dear sister of Theode Rivard (late Pauline) of Thetford-Mines Quebec, Cecile Leduc (late Henri) of LaPrairie, Quebec. Paul-Aime Rivard (Gaetanne) of Thetford-Mines Quebec, Jeannine Gregoire (Normand) of East Broughton Quebec and Raymonde Leroux (late Paul) of Levis Quebec. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers: Renaud and Rosario Rivard and one sister: Simone Jean. The family will be in attendance at BOULERICE FUNERAL HOME LTD., 218 Montreal Road Cornwall Ontario on Monday January 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday January 20, 2014 in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 1 p.m., followed by local cremation in South Branch crematorium, Cornwall.
