Walter Charles Quinn Sr. of Fairless Hills died on Friday, January 3, 2020 at his home at the age of 93.
Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Quinn has been a resident of Lower Bucks County since 1973 and was a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish. He spent his career as an underwriter with the Insurance Company of North America until retiring. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Quinn enjoyed ballroom dancing with his wife, golfing, camping and loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mr. Quinn will be remembered as a loving father who truly enjoyed time spent with family.
Beloved husband of the late Domenica, Mr. Quinn was the loving father of Walt Quinn (Patricia), Mary Czerniak (Stephen), Matt Quinn, Eileen German (Steven), Betty Quinn, Bob Quinn (Lisa), Joe Quinn and Gini Lewis (Mike) and was the devoted grandfather of Megan (Clint Myers) and Gregory Quinn, Jill Steffer (Dan), Zachary German, Victoria and Isabella Quinn and Maya and Christopher Lewis.
He is also survived by a nephew, Bernie Quinn and a niece, Mary Quinn McCarthy.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Teresa and his brother, Bernie.
Family and friends may call from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Rd., Fairless Hills where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Associationn, 1617 John F Kennedy Blvd, # 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
