Walter F. Skinski of Portland, previous longtime Middletown resident, passed on September 25. He was surrounded by family including his favorite person, his great grandson Jaxson, when he took his last breath at Hartford Hospital. He will be reunited with his one true love Dorothy, who preceded him in death in 2015. They will be together again just in time for her birthday on September 26. They were together for over 50 years.

Walter was also preceded in death by his daughter Laura, his sister Victoria, and parents. He is survived by his youngest daughter Linda, and many grandchildren and bonus grandchildren including; Jess & her partner Dave and their son Jax, Tyler and his partner Shelby, Beth and her partner Gerson, Ivan, and Chloe. There will be no services.
