Wanda Marie Terry

Wanda Marie Terry of Malden passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025 at her residence at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 3 days.  Wanda, daughter of the late Wiley Gilkey and Naomi Martin Gilkey was born on Monday, August 29, 1938 in Danville, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to J.T. Terry who preceded her in death on August 5, 2008. 

Wanda was a member of the Faith Community Church in Dudley, Missouri. She graduated from Gideon High School in 1956 and was a factory worker for Plastines. 

Her survivors include: Daughters; Janet Terry Payne and husband Tommy of Kennett and Lisa Terry Cogburn of Clarkton. Son; Brian Keith Terry of Wappapello. Grandchildren; Jon Jason Pierce and wife Amanda, Shane Williams, Hannah Cogburn, Jeremy Bibbs, Heather Terry, Sarah Moody, Brian Keith Terry II, Joshua Terry and Timothy Odell. Sisters; Reva Crane, Lavoda Oswald. Brother; Bill Gilkey. Great-grandchildren; Courtany Pierce, Jayson Pierce, Olivia Pierce, Zoey Williams, Nova Cogburn and Arabella Williams and numerous other great-grandchildren. 

She was preceeded in death by her Parents, Grandson; Jared Kieth Payne, Brothers; Joe, Thurmun, Bobby, Leon, and Dean Gilkey. Sisters; Ruby Wiles and Dorothy Hankins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden at 2 P.M. with Pastor Jerry Marton officiating with a Visitation starting at 1 P.M.

Interment will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri
