Selma, I checked the Logan Daily for news and noticed Wendell's information right away. I am so sorry. He was such a good friend to my brother years ago, and you and I went through high school together. Only a few days ago, Linda Giles, Cliff's daughter, asked me if I had had recent contact with you and Wendell. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

What a great man..Was always with a smile on his face. I am rembering all the times Mom and Dad would take us to visit with Wendell and Selma. My Mom and Dad shared something special with them, they were married on the same day November 2, 1946. He is now entertaining the angels with sparkling smiles..

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will long remember the many stories that Joe Hutchins and Wendell told me. They could not have all been true?? I enjoyed the many hours of coffee with him and Ray. He was a source of humor and comfort to Lynn while he and Lynn were both at HVCH.

To all the Phillips families.
Our love, thoughts, hugs and prayers to you all. Wendell was so genuine and a complete gentle giant. Always a smile on his face and a good word when you saw him. Love you all and consider yourself lucky to have had this man in your lives for the time you had him. He will suffer no more, and can take care of his precious family in Heaven while watching over you here on Earth.
