William "Bill" John Buhman, age 59, of Walcott, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his home. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Walcott Cemetery.
Bill was born on April 21, 1964, the son of Marvin and Dorrine (Paulsen) Buhman in Davenport. He graduated from Davenport West High School. Bill married Tammy Harper on November 22, 2014 in Walcott.
Most recently, Bill poured foundations for Aero Concrete in Blue Grass. In his younger years, Bill hauled livestock with his dad, Marvin. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time at their family cabin. Most of all, Bill loved spending time with his family.
Bill will be dearly missed by his wife, Tammy; five children, Brandon Blackwell, Jeremy Williams, Allisha Jennett, Amber Jennett, and Kayla Buhman; eleven grandchildren; Avaia, Amiya, Aubrey, Zachary, Caralyn, Carter, Athena, Laylani, Terry Jr; Aria, and Athaliah; two sisters, Patti LeCompte and Kelli (Steven) Butcher; and one brother, Dennis (Terri) Buhman.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Norman LeCompte.

I remember Bill when he was in our daughters Debbie and Donna were in school in Walcott and West High. He had a lot of energy. May his family rest in peace and comfort.

We are so sorry to hear about Bills untimely passing. We were always glad to see him and laugh with him when we visited his mom/our sister in Walcott. He always had a positive attitude and a sharp sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
