William "Bill" Edward's Obituaries
William "Bill" Edward Tolson, Jr. 75, of North Charleston, husband of Nancy (Cannon) Tolson, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his residence. Friends and family may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock PM. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 942 Folly Road, Charleston on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 2 o'clock PM. Bill was born on May 27, 1940 in Lake City, SC son of the late William E. Tolson and Etheleen (Hanna) Tolson. He was a Sergeant with the North Charleston Police Department and retired from Charleston County Police Department. He enjoyed fishing. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife Nancy are: two children: Lisa Winters (Bill) of North Charleston and William E. Tolson, III (Krystal) of Summerville; five grandchildren: Kellie, Brandon, Anson, Briana and Hailey; one great grandson: Mikey; one brother: James Tolson of Lake City, SC; one sister: Janice Tolson of Lake City, SC.
