William Buyak Obituary
Age 69, passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2018. William was born August 5, 1948 in Detroit, MI the son of Stanley and Lillian (Hildebrandt) Buyak. Bill has been a Lansing area resident since moving here from Texas in 1982. He graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in Detroit. Bill was a proud Army Veteran. He was owner/operator of Capital Steel since 1982 and also former President of ABC. Bill enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family at Elk Lake. Bill had a strong faith and credited Our Lord and Savior for everything he had accomplished in his life. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Nyeholt and brother in law, Joe Dargis. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sandy; children, Benjamin (Heather) Buyak and Bailey Buyak; grandson, William Buyak; sisters, Kathy (Eddie) Davis and Judi Dargis; sister in law, Rose Nyeholt. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, February 10, 2018, 2:00 PM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Holt Chapel. The family will receive relatives and friends, Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5-9 PM at the funeral home and then once again one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Salvation Army or Spirit and Truth Fellowship in memory of Bill. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.palmerbush.com.

Bill worked with me for decades on projects large and small. He was my go to guy for all matters steel, and conducted himself with utmost honesty and integrity. We will miss him. Hopefully, the joy of great memories with him will sustain you during this time of loss.

Bill was one of my greatest clients and I will surely miss him and his wonderful sense of humor. I recently had lunch with him and when we arrived back at Capital Steele, he said wait a minute i have a surprise for you, he opened his trunk and handed me my designer bag that I had left at a restaurant almost a year ago. I had forgot all about it but it will be used again in Bill's memory. I had the privilege of working with him on the Board of ABC and sharing many lunches with him. I extend my condolences to Sandy and his son and daughter and his precious grandson. I know he is with his Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. I will never forget his compassionate spirit. What a great loss to this world. I just cant believe his passing.

Bill was a great man that was passionate about the causes he loved. I personally enjoyed working with Bill through ABC-Central Michigan Chapter for many years. The world lost a great man but Heaven sure gained a great one. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.
