On behalf of the Wilberforce Congregational Church family of which Brother Douglas was the Minister in the early 60s , sincerest condolences are extended to the Douglas Family on his passing. May he rest in Peace.

I am so sorry for you loss. Rev. Douglas was my pastor for years when I lived in Kingsport TN. He will be missed.

The Rev. William Raydon Wilberforce Douglas, Sr.(December 18, 1932 – July 31, 2018)Rev. William R. W. Douglas, Sr. departed this life on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. He was born December 18, 1932, in Georgetown, Guyana to the late Abel Douglas and Venus Jerrick Douglas. He was also preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, the late Delores Polk Douglas and five brothers and two sisters. He served diligently and reverently as a Pastor and Preacher in various congregations in the AME Zion Church for over 60 years. He leaves to cherish his memory and to continue his legacy five children, Warren R. E. Douglas (Tracey), Joyanne Douglas Johns (Sam), Rev. W. Ray W. Douglas, Jr. (Nicole), Andre L. Douglas and Kristen N. Douglas; five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 506 15th Street NW, Roanoke, VA. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the start of the service. Rev. Dr. Alonzo Smith, Officiating and Bishop W.
