William is survived by his partner, Michelle Cook; daughter, Cherise “Bebe” Marshall; sisters, Barbara Bunch, Gloriadean Martin, Debbie Williams, and Bernice Williams-Mitchell; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton.

William was the father to my beautiful niece Cherise. She loved her dad and he loved her as well. William loved to fish and I’m sure he met many people while fishing from the pier. He will be missed by many who knew him. My condolences go out to the family.

Daddy, I am so glad that GOD was able to let us spend your last days together before he took you home, and i'm so glad we got to go fishing one last time before you left.
I still can't believe you're gone.
Who's going to play bones with me now?
Who's going to watch all those movies with me? And who's gonna give me eskimo kisses?
And I still don't think I have your tuna recipe and those famous fried crabs you make down quite yet. Maybe, you could come and show me one day in the kitchen just how you do it? Just come to see me and say hi to me anyway daddy...
because I still need you.
Please continue to watch over me and protect me from heaven.
This hurts so much...but I am happy that you are not in anymore pain...and I thank you for waiting for me.
I miss you so much daddy...and I love you eternally.
