William “Willy” Ramirez, 56, of Manchester, NH, passed away March 20, 2026, at the Elliot Hospital. Born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, on September 1, 1969, Willy was the beloved son of Jose and Delia (Ojeda) Ramirez. At a young age, he moved with his family to the United States, where they made their home in Manchester—a city he would proudly call home for the rest of his life.
Willy was a true jack-of-all-trades who was never afraid of hard work. Known throughout his community as a dependable handyman, he spent many years helping friends, neighbors, and anyone in need—always with a willing heart and steady hands.
He had a rare gift for connection and truly never met a stranger. Willy’s kindness, generosity, and selfless spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures and lived authentically, always on his own terms. Among his greatest passions was four-wheeling and off-roading, where he felt most at home and free.
Willy’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He is lovingly survived by his six children: William Ramirez Jr., Mickie Ramirez, Joseph Ramirez, and Taniesha Ramirez, all of Manchester; and Zachary Ramirez and Devon Ramirez, both of Nashua. He also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.
He was a devoted and cherished brother to Betsy Ramirez of Lebanon, NH, Carmen Ramirez of Massachusetts, Sol Ramirez of Manchester, Maria M. Ramirez of Florida, Jose A. Ramirez of Massachusetts, Alma Ramirez of Massachusetts, and Jose L. Ramirez of Manchester. He will also be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Willy was predeceased by his two sisters, Ramonita Ramirez and Diones Ramirez, whom he held close in his heart.
A funeral service and celebration of Willy’s life will be held on March 29, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the New Testament Fellowship Church, 522 Pine Street, Manchester. In honor of Willy’s generous spirit, the family kindly asks that donations of money, food, or acts of service be made to local homeless shelters in the Manchester area.
The Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH, is honored to assist the family during this time.
