William Sens Obituary

William Bacon Sens, age 92 of St. Cloud and formerly of Big Lake, passed away at his residence on Thursday September 22, 2016. Visitation will be Monday September 26, 2016 from 12 noon to 1 pm at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. A Memorial Service will follow at 1 pm. There will be a private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery of Minneapolis. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.

William was born on June 21, 1924 in Wells, MN to Ernest and Mabel (Bacon) Sens. He served in the US Army during World War II. He worked most of his life as an automobile mechanic. He enjoyed trap shooting and bowling.

William was preceded in death by his wife, Marian; brothers Robert and Ernest; sister June McCoy; and son Scott Michael. He is survived by his children Julie (Wally) Olzcak of Chicago, IL, Bill Sens of Princeton, MN, Mike Sens of St. Cloud, MN, Bruce Sens of Milaca, MN, Lynda Wiles of Crystal, MN, Laurie (Ron) Stoffel of Hurley, WI, and Tammy "TJ" Nerad of Platte City, MO; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
