Homegoing services for Mr. Willie Lee Bristow, of Tampa, who passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012, will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 2:00 P.M. at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida 33605 with the Pastor Eric E. Campbell, Sr. of Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Military honors will be conducted. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida on Monday,July 9, 2012. Willie was born in Mullins, South Carolina on June 21, 1951. He relocated to Tampa, Florida in 1962. Willie attended Brandon High School and received a G.E.D.from the Job Corps in 1971. Willie enlisted in the Military in 1971 and in 1973 washonorably discharged. Willie worked at Florida Cue. His most enjoyable pastimes were spending time with family and friends.Preceding him in death are his mother, Clotious Bristor; father, Willie Lee Bristor; 2 sisters, Clotious Bristor Harris and Hanna Mae Williams; 3 brothers, Johnny Givens, Donald Givens and Walter Charles Givens, Sr.Left behind to cherish memories of him are: his wife, Mae Bristow; 2 daughters, Shawnta Bristor and Nicole Bristor; 4 stepchildren, Sabrina and Clifford Baskin, Belinda, Angeletta and Anthony; 14 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mary Ruise and husband, Norman of Jacksonville, FL; Valmarie Royal, Elouise Webb, Mary Gause of Mullins, SC; 4 brothers, Joseph Bristor, Martin Bristor and wife, Tonya, Tommie Givens and wife, Juanita of Okeechobee and Cecil Bristor; mother-in-law, Luvnue Tapia; father-in-law, Lugene Ellis; sister-in-law, Angeltta Holmes; brother-in-law, Lugene Ellis, Jr.; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.There will be a viewing from 5:00 P.M.– 9:00 P.M. with the family being present from 6:00 - 7:00 P.M.
