Yvonne Jennetta Brown-Johnson

1950 - 2022

Yvonne J. Brown-Johnson was born July 7, 1950 in Montgomery, Alabama to her parents Mr. Joseph Brown and Dorthy (Marvin Sr) Lewis whom preceded her in death. Yvonne went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

Yvonne leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Morris Henry Johnson Jr (Tramilla) and Omar Jamal Johnson; fourteen grandchildren: Brittney (Corey) Johnson-Jefferson, Briana Evon Johnson, Allante Morris Johnson-Vanpelt, Devonte Stewart, Morris Johnson III, Courtney Shannon, Prince Morris Johnson, Jahmal Wilson-Johnson, Malicea Moore, Liberia Moore, Arianna Dawson, Kamari Osley, Marione Johnson, J’Lynn Pickens; nine great-grandchildren: Devonte Bush Jr, Camille Vanpelt, Devonte Stewart Jr, Cali Stewart, Aryah Johnson, Ny’anna Osley, Tyra Pigott, Tyson Pigott, Isaiah Moore; three sisters: Diane Brown, Susanlyn (Melvin) Wilson, Aurelia (Gentry) Transou; two brothers: Marvin (Brenda) Lewis Jr, Verbon (Patrica) Lewis; special aunt/cousin Ella Harris; cousin: Delores Maddox; special friend: Charlotte Richardson and host of nephews, nieces, cousins & friends

Yvonne’s departure from life was proceeded by one son: Eric Letom Lewis, one sister: Venus T Lewis, two brothers: Reginald and Trabian Lewis, one nephew: Marvin D. Lewis III and special cousin Plaza Ballard.
