1935 - 2026

ZERKA, Zaidan Georges – Of Swartz Creek, age 91, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026 at his residence.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church, 4133 Calkins Road, Flint.

Visitation 4-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. An Incense Service will be held at 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Tuesday at church until the time of the Mass.

Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church. 

Zaidan was born in Derdghaya, Lebanon on January 15, 1935, the son of the late Georges and Nazira Zarka. He married Adla Felfle in Lebanon in 1960. He was a member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church.

Surviving are wife, Adla Zerka;

Children, Shouky and Starr Zerka, Youssef and Najat Zerka, Salim Zerka, George and Micheline Zerka, Lina and Mohib Sobhie, Mariam and Tony Lahoud and Danny and Elsy Zerka;

Many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
