Zelma Julia Robilliard Salentro, 78, of Hepzibah, passed away at 8:10am, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at West Virginia University Hospitals Ruby Memorial following an extended illness. She was born in Bethlehem, WV, February 21, 1934 a daughter of the late Augustin and Rose Puccio Robilliard. On July 22, 1961 she married William "Babe" Salentro who preceded her in death on August 17, 1981. Surviving are one daughter, Tammy Stalensky and her husband John, Quiet Dell, one granddaughter, Amber Stalensky, Quiet Dell, one brother, Charles Robilliard and his wife Josephine, Hepzibah, one sister, Florence Reed and her husband Robert, Hepzibah, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Salentro retired from Secret's Furniture Store, Hepzibah, with 42 years service as the office manager. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Shinnston. She loved having get-togethers where she could be around her family and friends and especially her granddaughter. She enjoyed having people to her house and around the pool during the summer. She was a life long resident of Hepzibah. Zelma was a big WVU Mountaineer and New York Yankee fan. She loved to travel, crochet and was a wonderful cook. She also had many special dogs over the years that meant a great deal to her.Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, Rt. 19 South, Shinnston, on Friday from Noon until the time of the Rosary at 7:30, which will conclude the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Shinnston at 10am, Saturday, July 21, with Father Tom Dagle officiating. Interment will be in the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
