Harvey Canell Obituary

Harvey D. Canell Jr. Leroy Township Harvey D. Canell Jr. age 63 of Leroy Township passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. He was born on April 21, 1949 in Petoskey, Mich. to Harvey D. Canell Sr. and Mary Jane (Cook) Canell. Harvey married Debra Jean (Ellsworth) on June 2, 1971 in Boyne City, Mich. He was a craftsman. Harvey enjoyed working with wood, leather crafts and sandblasting. He is survived by his wife of 42 years; one daughter Tamirora Adams of Battle Creek; one granddaughter Tojnia Lee Eyre of Battle Creek; one sister Mary Jane Holley of Boyne City, MI; one niece Lynn Bannister of Boyne Falls, MI; two nephews Robin Holley and Mickey Holley of Boyne City, MI; and (UF) adopted granddaughter (Dolly) Alicia Merrill; and great grandson Blake. Family visitation was held at Spencer Family Funeral Home in Athens. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
