Patricia M. Hilden
Hudson, WI
Patricia M. Hilden, age 75, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2013 in Houlton, WI surrounded by family. Patricia was born on May 15, 1938 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Sheridan and Annie (Goodwin) Einhardt. She attended school in Michigan, and shortly after married her first husband, Donald Russell. They had three children together and moved to Hudson in 1972. She later married her second husband, Clifford Hilden. Patricia took great pride in taking care of her family. She also worked at various jobs in Hudson over the years, and especially enjoyed her job as a personal care attendant for disabled adults. After retirement, she decided to go back to work part-time at Wendy's. She loved working with the kids at Wendy's, and became "grandma" to all of them, who also made her feel young again. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and tending to her garden. She was very artistic and a talented drawer and painter. Animals were a big passion of hers, especially her dogs. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family. Patricia was a 'down to earth' person, & enjoyed the simple things in life, like having a cup of coffee on the deck watching the birds. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Clifford of Hudson, WI; children: Jeff (Debbie) Russell of Cottage Grove, MN; Randy (Patti) Russell of Houlton, WI; and Teresa (Mark) Bierbrauer of Dresser, WI; grandchildren: Dustin, Shane, Holly, Dean, and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Landon and Emmitt; step-children: Alan (Diane) Hilden of Billings, MT; Cindy (Jimmy) Gregor of River Falls, WI; and Larry (Cory) Hilden of Eagan, MN; brother, Dale (Edna) Einhardt of Texas; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Samantha.
A Gathering of Friends and Family for Patricia will be held from 3-6 pm on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 277 County Rd. E, Houlton, WI. A Memorial Service will be held the following day, Tuesday, June 4 at 11 am at Family of Christ Lutheran Church, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
