Dale Everett Kissinger Jr.


Dale Everett Kissinger Jr. age 68, of Springfield, died Thursday May 23, 2013.  Dale was born November 8, 1944 in Battle Creek, to Dale and Pauline Kissinger Sr. and was a lifelong resident.  He was a 1962 graduate of Springfield High School and had served in the United States Navy for four years.  He had been employed at the American Legion Hospital and retired as a Millwright from Michigan Paperboard Company in 2007 after 40 years of service.  Dale had been involved in Boy Scouts and enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his family. 

Dale is survived by his wife, the former Renda G. Nichols, daughters, Daleine Kissinger and Danielle Kissinger both of Battle Creek, sons, Dale E. (Lisa) Kissinger III and Danl L. Kissinger both of Battle Creek and Duane (Cindy) Kissinger of Hastings, 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, sisters, Carol Scroggins of Battle Creek, Ginny St. John of Battle Creek, and Judy (J.) Hamblin of Corbin, Kentucky, brothers, Dan (Linda) Kissinger and Robert (Penny) Kissinger, both of Battle Creek.  Dale was preceded in death by sisters, Patsy Wright and Wanda Ayers, and a grandson Timothy D. Asher Jr. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, 223 N.
