Dorothy Jane Williams, 88, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence. She was born on March 7, 1925, the daughter of Glenn Ingram and Mable Ellen (Clary) Ingram.

Dorothy was a 1943 graduate of Hastings High School and 1945 graduate of the Michigan State College of Economics. She and her husband were the owners of Williams Upholstery for many years.

Dorothy is survived by her Daughter: Cathy (Norman) Crandell of Battle Creek, MI; Sons: Jim Williams of Battle Creek, MI and Blaine (Nancy) Williams of Plainwell, MI; 5 Grandchildren; 14 Great-grandchildren and Sister: Martha Mead of Hastings, MI. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband: Paul Williams and Sister: Doris Greenfield.Dorothy enjoyed sewing, quilting and she wrote her autobiography. She loved sharing Jesus with others and ministering to others. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School and Bible Study Fellowship leader.

Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Sunday February 16, 2014 from 2 pm to 6 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service on Monday, February 17, 2014 at 11 am with Pastor Robert Zuhl of First Wesleyan Church officiating.Interment will take place in the Praireville Cemetery.Memorials tributes may be made to: Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Care.Arrangements by the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service. 269-788-9800
