Jacqueline "Jackie"/ "Yadi" Casterline, 62, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at her home. She was born May 6, 1952 in Battle Creek, the daughter of John Barrick and Mary Therese (Mello) Beard. She married Gregory Casterline on September 25, 1982 in Battle Creek. Jackie retired from ASMO after 25 years of service. She enjoyed crafts and building. She handcrafted numerous porcelain dolls that ended up being bought all over the world. She and Greg built their house, every board and every nail. She was an avid reader and a collector of Precious Moments and Mickey Mouse.

She is survived by her husband, Greg; children, Mel (Jerry) Laudolff, Cameron (Melanie) White and Amber Edwards; siblings, Connie (Chuck) Washington, Barb (Russ) Byers, Perry (Crystal) Beard, Mark (Sarah) Beard and Bryan (Susan) Beard; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service with Buddy Houghtaling officiating. Burial will be at the Floral Lawn. Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI. Memorial tributes may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center or Calhoun County Humane Society.
