David L. Bullens July 3, 1973-June 25, 2011 David Lee Bullens, 37, of Battle Creek, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 following an accident. He was born on July 3, 1973 in Lexington, Kentucky to Curtis L. and Ruth Ann (Guest) Bullens. David married, the love of is life, Amy Lassetter at a ceremony on May 22, 1993 in Lexington, Kentucky. A daughter Brittany was born to the couple and she was always daddy's little girl. He was always a hard worker and began his trade, working alongside his father, at a very young age. David was an accomplished journeyman concrete finisher and a master at construction. He believed in doing things right the first time. David was a devoted member of The Potter's House Church in Battle Creek. David is survived by his wife Amy Bullens of Battle Creek, his daughter Brittany Bullens of Battle Creek, his mother Ruth Ann Bullens-Heberlin, three sisters and a brother, his in-laws and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Potter's House Church, 226 Capital Ave. NE in Battle Creek, Michigan 49016. Funeral services will be held at the church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Hopper officiating. Condolences, photos and memories may be shared with the family at www.brownfuneralhomeniles.com. Memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to the church to assist his family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Niles.

We are so sorry for your loss, Amy, and pray God's angels will surround you and Brittany with His love and peace that passes all understanding. We trust that David is now experiencing unspeakable joy in the presence of our heavenly Father. Lord bless you and Brittany.

So VERY Sorry to hear of this!! What a LOSS to Humanity!! David was the MOST wonderful person, you could EVER hope to meet!! Will NEVER forget the kindness he showed me and my daugher Sarah!!
