Norris W "Mike" Wilson Sr. Norris W "Mike" Wilson Sr., 88, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Lifespan good Samaritan Hospice Residence surrounded by his family. Norris was born on July 23, 1924, to Ralph and Leona (Weimer) Wilson in Battle Creek. He had been an area resident living in Leroy Township for 57 years. On September 24, 1948, he was united in marriage to Edith M. Phares, who survives. He is also survived by daughters, Leona (Cor) Heykoop of St Catharines, Ontario, and Evelyn (Tony) Miller of Climax; and a son, David (Leslie) Wilson of Denver CO; brothers, Glen, Chuck, Dewey and Tom; and sisters, Mary and Linda. He was preceded in death by a son, Norris Wilson, Jr, in 2011; brothers, Gerald, Gale, Wesley, Ralph Jr, and sister, Carol. Norris has 15 grandchildren and step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. He loved being outside and enjoyed yardwork and gardening, with lots of flowers, feeding the birds, watching the deer, his cats Blackie and Brat, the Detroit Tigers and trying to beat the computer at "Hearts". Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-6 pm. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 29, 2012, at 11 am at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.

We are sorry to learn of Uncle Mike's passing. Yet we know how happy he must be with our Heavenly Father. My sister and I have some great memories of visiting at Uncle mike and Aunt Edith's home, that we will never forget. God's love be with all of you,
