Lennis Roy Henslee, Sr. 59, a resident of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013, in Mountain Home.
He was born March 5, 1953, in Salem, Arkansas to the late, Presley Wilcer and Vada Louise Potter Henslee. Lennis was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; a sister and two grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Lennie, Jr. and Sara Henslee of Mammoth Springs, Robert and Dakota Henslee of Ash Flat and Ethan Henslee of Viola; three daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy Mills of Michigan, Amber Wilson of Melbourne and Cassaundra and Deric Franks of Camp; eight sisters, Pauline Lawyer of Salem, Faye Allard of Cherokee Village, Lorine Elliott of Mountain Home, Ebb Glisson of Salem, Kathleen Jones of Mammoth Springs, Marlene Fish of Cherokee Village, Phyllis Owens of Wideman and Darlene Neiderbrach of Salem; 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, 2013, at Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at the Conner-Hankins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jackie Dockins officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Salem under the direction of Conner-Hankins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dennie Burch, Danny Grimes, Gary Kelton, Larry Kelton, Tony Allard, and Ronnie Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Allard and Troy Elliott.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, 774 Long Street, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653.
