Bernard Norris Bakken, 74
A Memorial Service for Bernard Norris "Bernie" Bakken, 74, of Yellville, Arkansas, will be 10AM Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Christ By The Lake Lutheran Church, with Reverend Mike Clark officiating.
Bernie died at home on June 7, 2014. Bernie was an engineer for JPL with the special distinction of working at the "famous" Area 51. He was an amateur pilot, avid photographer, and loved to travel. Bernie was a member of Christ By The Lake Lutheran Church, an volunteer for the North Arkansas Humane Society and served on the Board of Directors of the Pine Mountain Volunteer Fire Department. Bernie's service will be attended by his grandson, Adam Bakken and Adam's mother, Tina Bragg of Summerville, SC, his church community, and many friends.
